Our Beginnings and Growth
Tekka started as a local restaurant in 2016, and quickly became known as a great place to get authentic Japanese food in Hamburg location in Lexington Kentucky. After 3 years now, thousands of loyal customers make Tekka a regular destination.
 
The Food – Outstanding
We have a wonderful selection of Japanese favorites. Our sushi only uses high quality and fresh ingredients. Habachi has flaming onion volcano, shrimp tails flying, table-side cooking, chefs performing tricks. Tempura is always made fresh to order, lightly fried.  The bento box is served in a lacquered box with a beautiful display of meat or fish, rice. There’s something for everybody to enjoy from Tekka’s large and varied menu.
 
Sushi – Our Pride
Tekka is well known for having superior sushi, made by our highly skilled, professionally trained sushi chefs. This is REAL sushi. Fish imported directly from Japan is available, and all our ingredients are guaranteed to be “super fresh”. 
 
The Atmosphere
Our dining room is warm, comfortable and elegant. You can always hear the sound of our guests talking and laughing and enjoying the Tekka experience. Our guests feel like family to us, and we’re confident that once you dine here, you’ll want to visit us again and again.
